Tanterra Dive Team
The mission of the Montgomery County Diving League is “to promote safety, fun and learning of the sport of Springboard Diving through instructional practice and age level competition.”
Tanterra will compete again this summer in Division I of the League.
Divers compete in the following age groups: 8 & under; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14; and 15-18. Divers first learn basic front and back jumps and dives, then progress to more complicated maneuvers including somersault, reverse, inward, and turning dives. Points in meets are awarded to the first, second, and third place finishers in each age group.
Dive meets are on Sunday in June and July. Click on Meet Schedule above to see the schedule.
